General Meetings - Past Agendas
Our meetings are held at 7:00 p.m., on the third Thursday of every month*, year round. Please feel free to join us anytime! Our meetings have featured guest speakers on child rearing issues, speech pathology, as well as questions and answers with a local pediatrician, a twins panel, a dads panel (both with questions and answers), and much more. (*Our December Meeting will be held on the second Thursday of the month).

Board Meetings
The Executive Board meets on the second Tuesday of the month at a member's home (to be announced in the newsletter). All Club members are welcome to attend.

Social Activities
Throughout the year, DSMOM offers various social activities including the Installation Dinner, New Member Tea, and more.

Family Activities
DSMOM hosts several family parties throughout the year. All members of each family are invited to these parties, and they include the Halloween party, Christmas party, summer picnics and more.

Below you find the agendas from past General Meetings to give you an idea of what our group offers in terms of support:

Personality Types: At this meeting we took a personality test. Click on Test and Results to download the test we took as well as what the types mean. For more information, you can go to Keirsey.

Black Jack: It was a fun night of gambling and prizes. Additionally, several raffles where held for all types of prizes, like a membership to the Mesa SW Museum and others.

Twin/Multiples Panel: This is a special night for our members to hear firsthand what life is like as a twin or triplet. This meeting is open to spouses.

Photography and Silent Auction: We learned what type of camera, film and lighting works best in different situations. The members were also able to get advice on what type of camera to purchase - digital or no. During the seminar a silent auction was held for everything from Symphony tickets to a party at bounce zone. What a lot of fun!!

BINGO Night! : Collect all your buttons and beans, invite a friend and bring along some raffle money.

Friendly Vacations: The members received valuable information about family travel. There were great tips about traveling with children and great family friendly vacation spots. The tips were provided by a Family Travel Specialist.

White Elephant Gift Exchange: Simply find an object in your house that you do not use anymore. Wrap it up and bring it to the meeting. The rest to be explained at the meeting.We also have an annual Trolley ride in December. The route that the trolley ride takes is as follows: Trolley Route for those who can't make the trip..

Simply Put Organzing: A member of the National Association of Professional Organizers gave tips on how to organize all different aspects of your life .

Exercise Tips: Taking care of YOU. You are the one your family depends on, take the time to care for yourself through exercise, healthy eating and relaxation.

Christmas in July: Shop-a-thon. This meeting showcases the products our members who sell through their home. It is open to friends and non-members as well, raffles are held throughout the night for some wonderful prizes.
